Dear Parents and Students:
Finding the right tutor is so important!! Please, please, please do not hesitate to ask questions or provide information that is need-to-know such as learning disabilities, etc. Not every tutor is a good fit for every student, nor is every student a good fit for every tutor. Please take the time to do your research and interview multiple tutors.
Any tutor can help teach or reinforce 2 + 2 = 4. Rarely, is this the root-cause of the struggle. In my experience, this is only the tip of the iceberg. There is usually something else going on. Just like the majority of the iceberg is under water...sometimes presented challenges are much deeper than what can be communicated and/or what others can observe. Perhaps there are challenges with sleeping enough due to stress or misery from growing pains, unsuccessful eating or water drinking habits, have a learning disability, being bullied by a classmate or worse, perhaps by a teacher. Maybe they have focus issues due to depression, anxiety, etc.
One of the many gifts I have been blessed with in life is that students are (as are most humans) incredibly open with me. I am not a doctor, licensed therapist, nor nutritionist, etc. I do not present myself as such and never will. What I do have is an educational past with similar struggles such as insomnia, migraines, anxiety, being bullied, etc. It's because of my painful experiences throughout my primary and secondary education, that I am able to connect with students on a different level. Thankfully, the lessons I learned during those years made my college years much more tolerable. And because of that success I can effectively advocate for others.
What sets me far, far apart from other tutors or trainers is my ability to discover what the real challenge(s) is/are and help guide a student and/or parent in the right direction. Perhaps you or your child simply need a tutor. Perhaps you need a consultant to help discover what challenges belong to a tutor and whether or not there are additional challenges needing different fields of expertise. Either way, I hope to hear from you and look forward to being of service. Above all else--I wish you and your student much success!
All Ways Dedicated. Always.

Technically, no. That being said, based on experience of more than 25 years, students seem most successful when averaging between 3 sessions and 5 hours per week spanning over a period of several weeks.
It is also advised to start sooner rather than later. Once a student's confidence with math starts to decline, unnecessary frustrations can cause additional issues in other areas of school and/or life.
Please connect with Ashley first to determine which session is the best fit. Connecting with Ashley can be accomplished by booking a FREE! 10-Minute Consult, emailing, texting or calling. Please choose the option most convenient for you.

Students are required to be located in an appropriate place. Some students have started a Zoom call from what was obviously their bed or bedroom. In this situation, students are directed to move to a more appropriate location and are immediately disconnected from the session. A notice to the parent is sent immediately.
Different age groups of children typically need different tutors. For this reason, Ashley does not accept students younger than 9 years of age.
Ashley loves to learn...so it's no surprise she followed her heart and went where she wanted to go! Some of her education includes:
Safety is key! Ashley is licensed by the North Carolina Protective Services Board to provide armed security. This means you can be assured she has been through a thorough FBI background check AND passed. She protects total strangers and has for years...it's just who she is.
She has trained security and law enforcement in countering the threat in the case of an active shooter and how to provide highest level of executive protection (high-threat level body guard work).
She has trained victims of human trafficking, real estate agents, college students, etc. on how to use self-defense that suits their needs and lifestyles.
It is important to find the right tutor! Please, please, please do not hesitate to ask questions or provide information that is need-to-know such as learning disabilities, etc. Not every tutor is a good fit for every student, nor is every student a good fit for every tutor.
