It depends on the task and the client. 

In-person sessions are great for things like:

• organization/design
• face-to-face preference of the client for consulting
• on-site physical security reviews
• developing personalized safety plans
• downsizing and/or relocation projects
• image/wardrobe consulting
• process and procedure research

Virtual sessions are great for things like: 

• listening to what's on your mind
• asking thought provoking questions to assist in a decision process
• consulting to develop a roadmap or plan to accomplish your goals
• negotiations or negotiation coaching
• project management
• professional/personal goal coaching
• consulting groups spanning multiple time zones or regions

"Do what you've always done, get what you've always got!" This is one of my mantras and I hope this becomes one of your too. Ask Ashley works with individuals and businesses desiring assistance with personal or professional goals. 

We all need some help at some point in our lives. It's okay to get help personally, professionally or both. 

Personally, perhaps we just need someone to:

• listen while we try to sort through things;
• ask us thought provoking questions encouraging a deeper level of processing;
• be an accountability partner to keep us honest with ourselves; 
• help us break down the elephant on our plate into bite-sized pieces;
• assist with changing the lens in which we look through to gain a different perspective; 
• educate us about tools we already have and others we can acquire to complete the set;
• give us honest, unbiased, and/or tough-love style feedback about a current situation or future event;
• inspire us to be curious about ourselves, others, and the world;
• provide options to extend more kindness, grace, and patience - especially to ourselves.

Professionally, perhaps we just need someone to:

• listen to our career aspirations and develop a road map to whichever destination we desire;
• encourage us to keep moving forward, take a step back, abandon ship, or pivot as needed to;
• role-play with and work through difficult discussions with an employee or manager;
• facilitate tough discussions to tear down real and/or perceived barriers between and/or among individuals and/or departments;
• coach us through successful negotiations related to better pay, benefits, perks, contracts with clients, or anything else you want that feels out of reach or impossible;
• research processes and procedures currently existing, but failing to meet original expectations, and provide alternative solutions;
• author white papers and/or create documented processes to improve efficiency, accountability causing a positive affect to a company's bottom line;
• formally manage and/or guide a project, program or PMO;
• assist with thinking through tough decisions, creating alternatives and tactful delivery; 
• analyze gaps between what is and what should be and engineer a structurally sound bridge.

Currently, forms of payment accepted include CashApp and Zelle.

Payment is due prior to scheduling your sessions. If you find yourself in need of a last-minute session and I'm available, payment is due prior to commencing your session. If we reach a point in time during an extended session when your package has been completely used, the session will be paused allowing you to reload your account. Once payment has been received, the session will continue. 

Depending on the package(s) you choose, fees range from a minimum of $2 per minute to a maximum of $100 per hour. There are options for discounted rates based on which options and package you choose. You can choose to use a single package or a combination of packages to accomplish your goals. You will ALWAYS know your rate prior to scheduling.  

College Students. I have a true soft spot for anyone wanting to improve their lives especially setting up graduate candidates for success prior to graduation. College students providing a copy of their student ID and class schedule receive a 25% discount. This discount is good for students currently enrolled, have been enrolled in the past 6 months (meaning, you're taking a break) and up to 6 months after graduation. It doesn't matter if your 19 or 91...you are rocking it!

Under 30. The more you learn, the more you grow! In our 20's we have all sorts of things begging for our time and typically not a lot of spare cash lying around. If you are willing to go the extra mile, so am I! Individuals under 30 providing a copy of their driver's license or state issued ID will receive a 25% discount. 

Community Heroes.  Thank you for your service! You are near and dear to my heart. Heroes eligible for this discount include and are limited to: military (including spouses), law enforcement, firefighters, EMT/EMS, nurses, and teachers. Community Heroes providing proper credentials will receive a 25% discount.

The rates and packages found on this page are for individuals  and small businesses only. Rates for medium to large businesses, corporations are negotiated case-by-case. If you have something in mind, don't hesitate to ask!

There are two increments used for packages-hours and minutes. The larger the block of time you purchase, the less your hourly rate is. (Please also read "What if I need more time?")

By-the-Minute

• best used for quick or last-minute advice, follow up, etc.
• $2/minute
• advanced payment of $100 minimum is required and time will be deducted from your account as it is used
• minutes must be used within 30 days of purchase
• sessions are charged a minimum of 5 minutes, 1 minute increments after
• sessions between 5 and 15 minutes cannot be scheduled in advance

Hourly Rate

• sessions are charged a minimum of 1 hour, 15 minute increments after
• pay as you go - $100/hour
• small projects are between 5 to 20 hours - $90/hour ($450 minimum deposit)
• large projects are more than 20 hours - $80/hour ($1600 minimum deposit)
• small or large projects can be broken into many sessions

If you aren't sure how much time to buy, don't sweat it! Start off with a smaller package and build from there.  The best part is, you aren't penalized for buying too small of a package. Your time is tracked and  accumulates. The more you choose services from Ask Ashley, the less you pay. Cool, right?
Customizeable Package Options and Pricing:

• By-the-minute. This option has a minimum purchase of 50 minutes ($100). Time is charged in 5 minute increments up to 50 minutes. If your session lasts 50 minutes or more, you will automatically be switched to the hourly rate of $100 and 10 minutes will be addded to the current session at no additional charge. These added 10 minutes must be used adjacent to the end of the 50-minute session or are forfeited. You can choose to pay in 1-minute increments after. or any of the other options below. Paying by-the-minute is the only option that does not accumulate over time and each session begins at $2/minute with a minimum of 5 minutes and can't not be scheduled in advance if less than 15 minutes.

• Pay as you go. This option has a minimum of 1 hour. If you need a longer session or additional sessions, additional hours may be purchased for $100/hour. Simply pay for the additional time  prior to scheduling or using them if last minute. Once you accumulate 5 hours, your future hourly rate will be the same as a small project package ($90/hour).

• Small projects. This option has a minimum of 5 hours ($450) paid in advance to schedule services. Any additional hours scheduled in advance will be at the $90/hour rate until 20 hours have been accumulated. Once you reach 20 hours, your rate will decrease to $80/hour.

• Large projects. This option has a minimum of 20 hours ($1600) paid in advance to schedule services. any additional hours scheduled in advance will be $80.

• Supersized projects. Do you have something on your plate that could be 100 hours or more. No worries! Always remember: How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time.  Go ahead and book  1-hour session with me and let's see how we can approach emptying your plate. Acustom contract will be developed based on your needs. When you choose Ask Ashley, any investment made during your initial consultation will be listed as a credit on your contract.

Life happens and we have all needed to cancel and appointment sometimes, so I try to be as fair as possible to my clients and myself in these situations.

If you choose to cancel:

• 7 days or greater of your original appointment 
  • For example: your original appointment is scheduled for August 14th and you realize on August 7th, you have a conflict.
  • You will be charged a 25% penalty and the balance will be refunded to you.

• 24 hours to 6 days of your originally scheduled appointment
  • You will be charged a 50% penalty and the balance will be refunded to you.

• Less than 24 hours notice
  • You will be charged a 75% penalty and the balance will be refunded to you.

• “No Call/No Show”
  • You will not be eligible for any refund of your scheduled time, no exceptions.
  • If you realize this has happened during your originally scheduled session, you may still attend the balance of your session without monetary penalty, but the time you were late for will not be refunded and cannot be made up. 

• Eligibility for refunds will follow the policies listed within the reschedule and cancelation sections. No exceptions.
• Refunds will be processed within 72 hours of the event eligible for a refund.
• Payments made via Zelle will be returned via Zelle with no transaction fee.
• Payments made via CashApp will be returned via CashApp, but will be charged an additional  6% transaction fee to cover costs with accepting the funds and then returning the funds.

Life happens and we have all needed to reschedule at some point, so I try to be as fair as possible to my clients and myself in these situations.

If you choose to reschedule:

• 7 days or greater of your original appointment 
  • For example: your original appointment is scheduled for August 14th and you realize on August 7th, you have a conflict.
  • You will not be monetarily penalized if rescheduling your new appointment within 7 days of your original appointment.
  • For example: your original appointment is scheduled for August 14th, you realized it on or before August 7th, and you rescheduled for August 21st.

• 24 hours to 6 days of your originally scheduled appointment
  • For example: your original appointment is scheduled for August 14th, you realized on 
  • You will be given the option of rescheduling within 7 days of your originally scheduled appointment, but will incur a 25% penalty. 
  • You can choose to pay an additional 25% of your scheduled session and keep the same length of appointment, or forfeit 25% of your originally scheduled amount of time and have a shorter appointment.

• Less than 24 hours notice of your originally scheduled appointment
  • You will be given the option of rescheduling within 7 days of your originally scheduled appointment, but will incur a 50% penalty. 
  • You can choose to pay an additional 50% of your scheduled session and keep the same length of appointment, or forfeit 50% of your originally scheduled amount of time and have a shorter appointment.

• If you are unable to reschedule within 7 days of the original appointment, an additional penalty of 25% for each 7 days will be incurred. For example: if you gave 8 days notice (no penalty because of notice AND have 7 days to reschedule), but cannot reschedule for another two weeks, there will be a 25% penalty incurred.
• Once you reschedule an appointment, it must be kept. If the rescheduled appointment cannot be kept, it will be treated as a cancellation. Please see cancellation policy for additional information.
