Yes. You will not be charged, nor pressured to spend additional money or time. Onc e your session is complete, you are in control of making the next move. You will have the option to answer a short survey emailed to you, but it is completely optional. You will not be directly marketed to by Ask Ashley, LLC unless you specifically sign up for it. That being said, Ashley is still learning the system she is using for appointments and marketing. If you receive something you did not ask for, please let her know. It was unintentional and will be corrected as soon as possible. 

This Connect is for 30 minutes. 

No. Ashley is happy to discuss her products, services, and package any time and for however long you need. Think of the free connect as an interactive demonstration of services. There are perks to scheduling a consultation including but not limited to:

• 30 minutes of Ashley's undivided time;
• free access to your custom and personalized Miro board;
• gaining a a golden nugget to take with you (an "ah ha" moment or suggestion of a next step).

Any individual aged 18 years or older.

You will be required to submit your first and last name and your email address. 

This consultation is done virtually using Zoom. For more information about Zoom, click here. You are not required to have a Zoom account to participate in Zoom call. All participants are expected to follow Zoom Standards.

Anyone can schedule this FREE! Connect once every three months. That being said, Ashley is always available to answer questions via email or text and can usually respond in less than 24 hour.

Miro. Miro is an amazing whiteboard collaboration platform where participants can roll up their sleeves and dig in. You are not required to use Miro, but if you hear Ashley's keys clicking away in the background...it's because she's on your Miro board taking notes.

No need to have a Miro account. This is something that Ashley pays for and provided to her participants for free. While there is the option to download the app, it is not required as Miro has a web-based version. You will have access to your private Miro board for 14 days after this free session or for 3 months after your most recent paid session.  

Your Miro board is confidential and not shared without your expressed permission. Examples of when this option might be useful is:

• your sessions revolve around relocation plans and you wish to add a significant other (for your move) or family members (for downsizing and moving a parent).
• your sessions revolve around a business start-up and you want to share your board with colleagues or investors. 
• your sessions revolve around home remodeling plans and you wish to add designers, contractors, and suppliers. 

You will receive an invite to your custom Miro board no later than 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Please take a few minutes to learn about Miro by clicking on this link.

Yes. 

Please keep in mind that Ashley is not a licensed psychologist, therapist, etc. She does not play one on TV, virtually, nor in person. She is simply an option to developing obtainable results. 

Although she is not required to maintain confidentiality, she promises her clients this level of respect. There is only exception to this promise. If a client demonstrates intent to harm themselves or others. If this is witnessed, Ashley will discontinue services and forward the participants information to the appropriate law enforcement authorities.

You can get the most out of your session by coming prepared. Suggestions on how to prepare include:

• reading all of the Frequently Asked Questions on this page;
• learning about Zoom (remember, you do not need to download the app, nor have an account);
• learning about Miro basics (remember, you do not need to download the app, nor have an account);
• reviewing the question and answer below labeled "What is discussed during this session?";
• making notes of your answers to the questions in that same section;
• making sure your head is in the right place to focus;
• finding a quiet place for this meeting;
• checking to make sure all of your technology is charged;
• logging in 5 minutes early to provide ample time for any technology related issues;
• being prepared to have an open, honest and sometimes tough conversation.

Ashley is a professional through-and-through, incredibly open-minded and willing to discuss just about anything that is on your mind. During this session, Ashley will:

• introduce herself and encourage you to do the same;
• ask you about what brought you to her;
• ask you about what's on your mind;
• ask you about what does support look like to you;
• offer a golden nugget to take with you (an "aha" moment or suggestion of a next step);
• ask if you would like to purchase an additional session or package.

She promises to not pass judgement, nor steer you in a direction other than what you have expressly stated is the direction you wish to go. She is very proud of her ability to connect with people on a level different from most. People come to trust her very quickly and with good reason. She is an excellent listener, demonstrates a deep level of genuine empathy, and comes from contribution and curiosity.

She serves her clients best by providing a safe place to have real conversations about a current situation(s) or future goal(s).  Safe means a free exchange of information between Ashley and the participants without judgement or fear of retribution. Some conversations, at the direction of the client, could travel to some pretty tough places.   

Technology is a gift and a curse. If technical difficulties do arise, reasonable accommodations will be made. No need to stress, this happens to all of us.

Life happens. If you need to reschedule, you will have the opportunity to reschedule one time. If you miss the second time, you will not allowed to schedule a free consultation in advance for six months. You can still reach out to Ashley with questions about her products or services via text or email. 

Out of respect to Ashley and others, if you change your mind or something comes up, pleas8e let Ashley know as soon as possible by texting 864.441.9566. If you provide more than 48 hours notice, you are welcome to visit and set up a free consultation anytime. If you provide less than 48 hours notice, you will not be able to schedule a free consultation in advance for six months. You can still rech out to Ashley with questions about her products or services via text or email.

Yes. There is a code of conduct.

This code of conduct is the least favorite part of Ashley's world and is non-negotiable. If you have a question about the below, please do not hesitate to contact Ashley in advance.

Ashley will not participate, or appear to participate, in any activity or actions against others that can be considered immoral, unethical, or illegal.  

So what does that really mean? Tough conversations about tough topics are permitted and highly encouraged. Sometimes this means conversations around what some would consider to be immoral, unethical or illegal and that is permissible. If Ashley believes a participant is veering in a direction outside of what is allowed, she will provide a polite reminder of this policy. As long as the reminder is effective, the conversation will carry on as if nothing happened. 

Conversations are not to be confused with actions. Immoral, unethical, or illegal actions demonstrated during sessions will not be tolerated. In addition to this, if a participant demonstrates the intent to commit harm to an entity, another person or themselves, Ashley will do her best to guide the participant to a resource outside of Ask Ashley, LLC. If the action is a crime against a person, place or thing, appropriate law enforcement will be notified.

Participants appearing to violate any of the standards set by Zoom will result in an immediate disconnect of the call.  You will promptly (within 15 minutes) receive an email from Solutions@AskAshley.life asking for clarification of your intent and offer options that don't violate Zoom's Standards. If the participant(s) agrees to follow the guidelines, a second opportunity will be provided. 

If a participant blatantly disregards Zoom's Standards, the call will be disconnected without notice, email sent to you stating why you are banned from Ask Ashley, LLC services, reported to Zoom and appropriate law enforcement authorities. 

If you are unsure about whether or not your request will violate Ask Ashley, LLC polices, you are highly encouraged to email specifics in advance. If your email is determined vague (as in you're not willing to put your request in writing), it will be assumed you plan to violate this policy and your appointment will be cancelled without notice.
